Bathroom Refurbishment

Simple design, maximising space..

This project involved a complete refurbishment from start to finish, including tiling, and we are extremely pleased with the final result. The shower area features a 1500 x 900 shower tray with sliding doors. One notable design feature is that the shower controls are positioned closer to the door than the shower head, ensuring that accidental soakings are prevented. To enhance functionality, we added a shower shelf/alcove for the customer’s washing gels and soaps.

For shower and bathroom areas, we utilise AQUAPANEL®, a high-performance board that offers exceptional lightness, reliability, and stability. It is specifically designed to withstand challenging wet and humid conditions, making it suitable for various applications such as swimming pools, steam saunas, communal showers, and kitchen areas.

The thermostatic mixer by Ideal Standard, equipped with an easy box concealed shower valve, adds a touch of elegance with its smooth edges. It is also quick and straightforward to install. The built-in mixer boasts superior water tightness, thanks to its double sealing system, which is particularly important for ensuring a leak-free experience.

In terms of fixtures, this bathroom showcases a back to wall pan with a WC unit, accompanied by a matching vanity unit and basin. These elements create a cohesive and stylish look.

To maximize space as per the customer’s request, we converted a cupboard into tiled shelving. The use of large grey floor tiles contributes to a sense of spaciousness, while the 600 x 300 beige wall tiles beautifully complement the modern aesthetic of the space.
